LINC presents for Trailblazers
The Concordia Trailblazers group invited Pastor Prieto and Hannah to come to their group and speak about LINC on Tuesday, February 21st. It was a wonderful opportunity, once again, to spread the vision of LINC and share a passion for missions and outreach with the members of the trailblazers group. They asked great questions about service project opportunities and were eager to learn about upcoming events and what LINC has in store for the future. Afterward, a lovely meal was provided and enjoyed by all in attendance.

LINC vision travels to Austin
On Sunday, February 19th, Pastor Prieto and Hannah shared the mission, goals, and vision of LINC San Antonio with members of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Austin. Redeemer is located north of downtown Austin off of highway 183. Members are very involved in community service projects and missions, like collecting donations for food pantries, working with Habitat for Humanity and the Texas Ramp Project, serving the elderly with their Faith in Action Caregivers group, and taking mission trips to Kenya and Mexico, among many other servant events. They have a very missional focus in their church community and were very excited and interested to hear about LINC San Antonio and the recent projects that have been completed and about those that are being planned and are under way. It was wonderful to meet the members and share the LINC vision with them. We hope to continue building a relationship with Redeemer, Austin and see where and how the Lord will lead it and guide us in ministry.

LINC Sunday at St. Paul
LINC was blessed to visit St. Paul Luthe... [more]

LINC was blessed to visit St. Paul Lutheran Church on the 22nd of January, which is located downtown on Presa Street and is the oldest LCMS congregation in San Antonio. It was an honor to join with Pastor Carolos Boerger and such a loving congregation and share in worship and fellowship together. Pastor Prieto's sermon focused on the Gospel lesson from Mark about the calling of the disciples to leave their nets and follow Jesus. Would you leave you job to follow a man you had never met before? This is the power of Jesus and His word. He said, "follow me." Between the two services and after the last service, Pastor Prieto and Hannah spoke about LINC, ministry in the city, and upcoming projects; opportunities for all age groups to be involved in sharing the Gospel with the diverse people of San Antonio. LINC was thankful to be a part of St. Paul for a Sunday. If you would like LINC to share a Sunday with your church, we would love that. Feel free to contact us.
